I’m taking on Fred’s Big Run this August to STEP UP TO RESTORE SIGHT!

My goal is to raise funds for The Fred Hollows Foundation to continue the legacy of an Australian legend, Fred Hollows.

Because right now, 9 out of 10 people who are blind don’t need to be...

And an operation that costs as little as $25 can help restore sight to someone who is needlessly blind, and change their life forever!

We got there in the end.

I set myself a few goals for this challenge. First was to run my 250km for the month, then beyond that I wanted to do the 250km by the 25th. Once I achieved those goals, I aimed to continue at the rate I was going. I ended up making my 10km/day average on the final day by running 25 km for the day. The only goal I have left is to get my $500 fundraising goal over the line, so wish me luck. Looking forward to next year’s effort.
